Coaching Progressions and definitions.

Tots Tennis= Ages 2- 4 years. Tots wanting to have a run round and help develop coordinational, balance and basic tennis skills.

Red Ball 1= Ages 4- 8 years. Children new to tennis. Played on a small court (1/4 of the size of a regular tennis court) with Red balls and smaller rackets
Red Ball 2= Ages 4- 8 years. Children who have played tennis regularly and is able to hold a ‘rally’. Played on a small court (1/4 of the size of a regular tennis court) with Red balls and smaller rackets.

Orange Ball 1= Ages 9- 10 years. Children newer to tennis. Children who want to learn the basics before playing full competition. Played on a smaller but full size tennis court with Orange balls and roughly size 23inch racket.
Orange Ball 2= Ages 9- 10 years. Children who play tennis regularly and is able to hold a ‘rally’ and is looking to play more competitive tennis and even represent the club against other clubs.

Green Ball 1= Ages 10- 11 years. Children who are newish to tennis. Children play on a full size court with a green ball and a 25/ 26inch racket.
Green Ball 2= Ages 10- 11 years. Children who have played a decent amount of tennis and is showing signs of playing competitively. Able to hold a rally and begin to play points and even matches against other clubs.

Yellow Ball 1= Ages 11+ years. Children who are newer to tennis. Full size court and racket.
Yellow Ball 2= Ages 11+ years. Children who have played a lot of tennis and are competitive. Able to rally and be able to score and play matches.

Adults
Beginners= People who are new to tennis and would like to learn the basics. Possibly people that once played it many years before and would like a recap.
Intermediates= People that have played a certain amount of tennis and would like to further their tennis skills and tactical awareness.
Advanced= People that are competitive, playing regularly in club plays/ matches or hitting.
Competitive= People who would like to be considered for Club matches, playing against other clubs.

Cardio Tennis= High Intensity Fitness session. Tennis skills are not considered but sheer determination to run down every ball will be. High volume music to help get you moving!
​
Holiday Camps= These camps cater for Red, Orange, Green and Yellow Ball players and will include 2 Hour sessions, 3 hour sessions and Daylong being 9- 3.30pm
